Nottingham City Council in conjunction with the Nottingham Regeneration company has earmarked close to 200 hectares of city centre land for urban regeneration and development. This area has been split into 3 sites; the Southside, Eastside and Waterside, each with a different theme. Each area will be redeveloped with a focus on commercial/office space, residential zones or leisure areas.

Over the past 10 years there has been an onus on the redevelopment of disused industrial spaces for city living. Furthermore, the increase in attractiveness of Nottingham as a base for service sector activity has improved the demand for quality office and commercial space.
